Double row angular contact ball bearings are compact bearing units designed to accommodate combined radial and axial forces. Their design corresponds to two single row angular contact ball bearings in an O arrangement, but integrated into a common outer and inner ring. This combines high rigidity with a space-saving design and precise running accuracy.
The double row of balls allows them to transmit axial forces in both directions while offering high radial load carrying capacity. The optimised raceway geometry ensures smooth running and even load distribution across both rows of balls – ideal for applications with changing load directions or limited installation space.
Double row angular contact ball bearings are available in open or sealed versions. The sealed versions reliably protect the bearing from contamination and moisture and are provided with a defined grease filling, which ensures a long service life and low maintenance.
