Double row deep groove ball bearings have two parallel raceways and thus two rows of balls, which together ensure higher load ratings and stability. This double arrangement distributes the forces more evenly, enabling the bearing to accommodate greater radial and axial loads even in compact designs.
They are preferred where single-row deep groove ball bearings reach their load limits or where installation space is limited but force absorption on both sides is required. Thanks to their structural rigidity, they are also able to compensate for slight misalignments and tilting – an ideal solution for short shafts or single bearings with high precision requirements.
