Balls and needle rollers are the central functional elements of every rolling bearing. They transfer forces between the inner and outer rings, minimize friction and have a decisive influence on the load capacity, accuracy and smooth running of the bearing.
Balls are made of high-purity chrome steel, stainless steel or ceramic and impress with their precise roundness and polished surfaces. Needle rollers have an elongated profile with linear contact, which enables them to achieve particularly high surface pressure and load capacity in a compact installation space.
