Retaining rings are used to fix components axially on shafts or in housings and prevent unwanted displacement of bearings, gear wheels or spacer rings. They are inserted directly into standardized grooves and enable space-saving, mechanically resilient securing.
Depending on the application, versions for shafts (DIN 471) or housings (DIN 472) are available. Made of spring steel or stainless steel, they offer high dimensional stability and secure holding force even under changing loads.
