Angular contact ball bearing housing units offer an economical and easy-to-install solution for precise axial and radial bearings. They consist of a drawn flange housing with angular contact ball bearings arranged in pairs in an X configuration. The housing has a corrosion-resistant coating, the bearings are sealed on both sides and preloaded without play.
The compact design reduces installation effort and component variety. The units are flanged directly to a machined flat surface – no interference fits, additional covers or separate fasteners are required. Thanks to the factory-set preload, no readjustment is necessary during installation.
During installation, the bearings align themselves automatically via the spindle nut, thus avoiding tension caused by misaligned bearing seats. The result is a backlash-free, durable bearing with high positioning accuracy and low susceptibility to errors – ideal for cost-optimized applications in drive and linear technology.
