Single-row deep groove ball bearings are among the most versatile and widely used bearing types. Their compact design, optimised raceway geometry and precise ball guidance allow them to accommodate both radial and axial loads in either direction while ensuring high-speed capability and exceptionally smooth running.
With their wide range of designs and variants, deep groove ball bearings can be precisely adapted to specific applications. Besides open designs, versions with metal shields (ZZ) or low-friction seals (2RS) are available, providing effective protection against dust, moisture and lubricant leakage. For corrosive or hygiene-critical environments, rust-resistant stainless steel versions offer a durable and reliable solution.
Optional hybrid designs with ceramic balls further reduce friction, enhance start-up performance and extend service life, particularly under high-speed or thermally demanding conditions.
Depending on the application, bearings can be supplied with a specially selected grease – ranging from universal lubricants to high-temperature-resistant or lifetime-lubricated variants for maintenance-free operation.
