Axial cylindrical roller bearings are designed to accommodate high axial forces in one direction. They are characterized by high rigidity and a significantly higher load capacity than axial needle roller bearings of the same size. Thanks to their separable design, bearing components such as the roller cage, shaft washer and housing washer can be mounted individually and combined flexibly.
They are used wherever unilateral axial or thrust loads occur and no radial forces are acting. Their compact design allows installation even in limited axial space, while the precise guidance of the rollers ensures even load distribution and minimal deformation.
Both complete bearings and individually combinable components are available. The integration of an axial cylindrical roller cage directly into the connecting structure also offers a space-saving solution, provided that the running surfaces are designed as raceways.
