Single-acting
Axial angular contact ball bearings are designed to accommodate combined axial and radial forces and offer high rigidity and precise guidance. They are used wherever precise axial movements and backlash-free running are required.
Single-acting designs, such as the 760... series, have a single row of balls and absorb axial forces in only one direction. For axial loads on both sides, they are used in pairs or in combination. Double-acting variants, on the other hand, are designed as complete bearing units and can absorb forces from both directions.
Thanks to their precise preload and optimised running characteristics, axial angular contact ball bearings are particularly suitable for spindle, feed and screw drives with high requirements for accuracy and smooth running.
